Animated Video

Engaging animated videos for your business

An animated video is less of a type of corporate video and more of a stylistic choice, for example, an animated business story video or brand video. Rather than filming real people for interviews and scenes, an animated video uses images, illustrations, characters and a voice over to create a story in 2d or 3d.

Animated video can be used for a wide variety of purposes from showcasing your capability, to building desire in your target customer. Learn more about our animated videos here!

How do you create a corporate video in Perth?

The Corporate Video Production Process

Perth Video Pre-Production

Pre-Production

The first step in the corporate video production process is the pre-production or planning stage. In this stage, we’ll collect background information on your business, your customers, the type of video you want to make and how you want the audience to feel when engaging with your content. We’ll use this information to craft a storyboard that embodies your key messages and provides an overview of how the video will look and feel.

From there, you can select a filming date and we’ll put together a runsheet outlining the who, what, when and where of filming day. Whether you’re using paid actors, staff or customers, are filming in a studio, at your office, or in a remote location, Laundon and the LP Visuals team are here to guide you at every turn.

Production

The second stage of producing your corporate video is filming, often called production. We offer a range of shooting durations depending on the needs of your project, from shoots that last a few hours, to a half day, full day or even multiple days.

On filming day, we’ll capture the vision outlined in your storyboard. This includes interviewing your team and making them feel comfortable on camera, while guiding them to share on-brand messages. We’ll also capture b-roll and drone footage to add visual interest to your story. A dynamic and fun day, our team is here to capture all of your content and ensure you have a good time along the way!

Perth Video Production Editing

Post-Production

After all filming is complete, your corporate video moves into the editing, or post production phase. This is where we take all of the beautiful footage captured in the production stage and start bringing your videos to life. Music, colour, titles, transitions, motion graphics, your logo, text transitions and more can be added to your video to create an immersive corporate video.

We’ll complete an initial edit and seek your feedback to improve your videos. You’ll get direct input on how the video should look and feel, while also having access to the knowledge of our video production specialists who can guide you on what should be done to make the most effective corporate video.

Corporate Video Perth FAQs

  • If you want your customers to know who you are then a corporate video is the best way to do that. The goal of a commercial video is to educate an already interested audience (i.e. people on your website) and encourage them to take engage with your business.

84% of people say that they’ve been convinced to buy a product or service by watching a brand’s video. 69% of people prefer to learn about your business by watching video. 86% of businesses now use video as a marketing tool.

The stats from Wyzowl speak for themselves: corporate video is an incredible way to tell your story, connect with customers and drive engagement.

  • The key to making a good commercial video is to understand who your target audience is and what they need to hear to take the next step. While commercial videos are about explaining the who, what and why of your business, every element of a commercial video stills needs to be customer focused. Everything from key messaging, to video structure and the shots used in the video needs to focus on your customer.

This means understanding the problem your business solves, who your audience is, what the audience knows about your business, what your audience values and their commonly asked questions, concerns, and fears about your industry.

By understanding this information, you can apply it to your video concept and ensure you create an engaging commercial video for your business.

  • There’s so many factors that can affect the cost of a commercial video.

How long is the video? Will it take us one day or a week to film? How many locations will we film in? Do you need graphics or animation work? Do you need a voice over and script writing? And so on.

At LP Visuals a commercial video project typically ranges between $4,000 to $8,000, but it can go up to $20,000 if you want all the bells and whistles. Have a specific budget in mind? Great – just let us know on your free video strategy call and we’ll help you craft a commercial video concept that ticks all the boxes.

  • Corporate videos take approximately six weeks end to end. Sometimes things go faster, sometimes slower, depending on how many people are involved in the decision-making process of what’ll be in the video and the complexity of filming and editing.

What happens in that six weeks? It’s broken down like this: (1) commercial video strategy; (2) concept, quote, and approval; (3) filming; (4) editing your commercial video; (5) editing feedback and alterations; (6) final version and release.

Got a deadline? We’re happy to deliver fast, but we always focus on quality. Mention your deadline in your free video strategy call and we’ll take care of the rest.

  • Your role in the corporate video production process will be brand manager. Essentially, we do all the heavy lifting and just check in with you to make sure what we’re doing is on brand.

Your tasks include: attending video planning meetings; approving the quote; approving the video messaging; assisting in organising people to be filmed; providing feedback on the video edit; and lastly releasing the video into the world.

You’ll be guided through every step of the production process and told what you need to do and when.

  • This is one of our favourite questions!

We’re passionate about content repurposing and have lots of ideas to make sure you get the most out of your production. Commercial videos shouldn’t just be doomed to live on the ‘about us’ section of your website that doesn’t get any traffic.

Some other places you can share your commercial video are: on Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram; at trade shows and corporate conferences; in email marketing campaigns; as a part of an automated sale process; and as part of employee and contractor inductions.

  • Yes! Feedback is critical to any successful commercial video project.

First, you’ll be asked to provide feedback on the brief, key messaging and storyboard – enabling you to shape the story before we’ve recorded anything.

Second, on filming day you’ll be asked to provide input on interview content as well as places and people to film.

Lastly, and most importantly, once a first edit has been put together you’ll have two final opportunities to provide feedback on the video to shape the story into the perfect commercial for your business.

  • Of course! Every commercial video needs to be on brand, so we add logos, titles and graphical elements to convey who you are, what you do and why you do it, in style.

  • Yes! We’re happy to provide two final versions of the video, one with and one without subtitles.

  • Book in a free video strategy session and we’ll get to know who you are, who your audience is and what your perfect corporate video looks like. we’ll then send you a brief and quote for your approval, before starting to craft your story.

Reserve a slot for a free video strategy session now and we’ll do the rest.
